I have a Crush
I'm almost 30 but I think I still have the 'teenager side' in some part of me. You see, I have a crush like a school girl crush with celebrity. Who the hell my crush is? Ehem.... Well, my crush is....
After starting to watch The Vampire Diaries and completed Season 1, I felt in love with Damon Salvatore character. The naughty, bad-ass Damon Salvatore. Despite being the bad-ass brother, he's caring, loving and deep down inside is hurt. And the eyes, THE EYES..... *faint*. Can't wait to continue watching Season 2 and so on.
Fortunately, in real life, I already have my own Damon Salvatore. Even though they don't share the same eyes, he still have 'THE EYES' that I love to stare at. *wink*. He is my fiancé!

The Train is Coming
Apparently this is what happen everyday when I go to work. Argh! Sometimes it's really frustrating when you and others queue up in nice straight line but once the train come, some of the idiot just pushing everybody away without queue up. Does it hurt to queue up and not just rush to the train like the spartan? Worse went they're standing exactly in front of the door and make all passengers from inside the train having difficulty to come out. Seriously, it feels like a battle of the train.
People please, it doesn't hurt for you queue up and even if you don't, never push other people like they're nothing.

Fresh Graduate: The New Beginning of Working
Hey everyone. Maybe some of you already read my entry of Fresh Graduate: Interview. So once you already accepted your job, how can you survive as newbie in the office. Yes, you're the fresh meat that everyone would like a piece of you. It's either the help you or end up bullying you.
1. Be friendly/Polite
Be friendly to everyone in the office and be polite especially to the seniors. I don't like this "senior-junior" attitude but some workplace does have this kind of attitude. Yep, just go with the flow because some of the "senior" who earlier doesn't really give a crap (some are rude just because you're junior) on you will eventually be nice once you get to know them. Even thought you hate them, just fake a smile.
2. Ask
If you don't know anything just ask. If you don't know how to do your work, just ask. Even though some of them refuse to help you to learn but at least you asked. Some of the seniors like you to ask them. It make them feel important. Don't be shy and scare. It's better to ask rather than sitting there quietly and being dumb. Why do you need to ask? Refer to point 3. By the way, most of the seniors did mention this point to me. They want new hire to ask them. They might already point out important thing but some points could be missing. That's why they want you to ask.
3. Learn
We all write in our resume and tell the interviewer during the interview that "I am willing to learn." Now is the time that you need to learn by asking your senior if you don't know and not sure. Don't assume and just do it. You might end up making a mistake that in worse case will effected your senior or manager's work. Remember, DON'T ASSUME, JUST ASK. Okay some of them doesn't want to help you and you end up need to learn it yourself. Use the Internet and stop being lazy.
4. Punctual
Remember I told you to be punctual for the Interview? Make it a habit and continue to come early and be punctual when you come to the office. Make sure you are early whenever you need to attend a meeting either internal or with clients. Don't follow bad habit from your seniors who always come late.
5. Working Attire
It depends on your office dress code. I used to work in MNC company that allows employees to wear jeans. Most of the office prefer office casual. As long you look neat that would be fine. You don't want to look like someone just came out from the garbage do you?
6. Take note
You are new to the company and your job. Make sure you have a notebook and pen for you to write down anything important. Usually most of the company will give you a notebook together with other stationeries for you to use it. You won't want to piss off others for asking the same questions for so many times. Two times are still acceptable.
7. Blend in.
As I suggested in point one, try to blend in with others but be careful. Since you're new, don't trust anyone 100%. They might have other intention of scamming or using you. It will take a while for you to really blend in with colleagues who are more suitable for you. You are lucky if you have another new hire on your first day so you can make friends with that person and won't be so nervous as when you are alone.
8. Learn from mistake
Making mistake is unavoidable. No matter how careful you are, sometimes you'll end up making a mistake. Your senior or manager might be angry and scold you. Learn from that mistake and never repeat the same mistake again.
You will take some times to understand the company protocol and culture. Each company has their own culture. I've worked with 3 companies before and I've experienced 3 different cultures. My supervisor during my intern-ship did mention to me that the first year working is about adjusting yourself and knowing the company. So I advise that you should experience at least 1 year in your company to see how it goes. If you can't adapt to the working culture or get a better offer that you should go. If you have experience less than 1 year, most of the interviewers will ask because they afraid that you won't stick around and jump from one company to another.
Hope my tips above help you and it based on my experience. Other people may have different experience that I've never encounter. Maybe if you want to share you can mention it in the comment below. Happy working everyone!

Fresh Graduate: The Interview
Everyone used to be a fresh graduate. It's the starting point in your career. You have no experience but all you have is your certificate. Even some of you will agree with me that we don't really use what we learn in University or college but that's your ticket to find a job. But diploma and degree holders are everywhere now, so what makes you different from them? Here are some tips you need to have.
1. Interview is a learning process
Life is a continuous learning. It doesn't mean that once you finish your education in high school, college or university it's the end of your learning process. You still have to learn about your work once you're working. Don't be afraid. Go for interview. The first time you will be nervous and when you went to other interview you will feel better. Okay not necessary. You will still feel nervous but not as nervous as the first time. You will see different company has different style of interview. Some has written test, some has verbal only and some has both. You will gain confidence to talk and always smile.
2. Make sure you're early
This indicate that you're punctual. Employer wants their staff to be punctual to work. You might need to meet client if it's required in your job scope so don't let the bad attitude gives the client bad impression about your company. Going to work is totally different from going to class. It would be okay if you came late and skip the class but not for work. So show some good impression. If you're not familiar with the interview location, come one day earlier to check where the location is to avoid you from being late because you can't find the office.
3. Neat and appropriate attire.
Don't wear like what you wear when you go to class. Dress up and make you look professional. If you're applying for managerial area or any job that required you to look neat, wear a blazer and tie. No jeans. Remember, first impression is really important. It's not that you only need to dress up when you go for a date but also for interview but please no over make up that you will end up looking like a clown. Don't forget one more accessories, smile please.
4. Interest to the Job
Show your interest to the job that you apply. Ask questions about the job scope, the company but advisable avoid asking about salary. Perhaps you could ask during second interview or once they decide to choose you among all candidates. Yes, some company has a few levels of interview. I've been to third level interview but seems like someone is better than me.
5. Build confidence level
Learn about the job that you apply and the company business. If you're shy, go for a lot of interview and slowly you will build up your confidence. Don't get frustrated when the interview doesn't goes well but learn all the things that you don't know during the interview. It will be useful for the next interview. If you show your confidence during the interview, the interviewer will be interested to hire you. After several interview, I'm able to build up confidence while attending interview that make the interviewer impress and interested to hire me.
6. Show them you're willing to learn
Don't just write in your resume "willing to learn" when you're actually don't. Employer usually prefer someone with experience but if you show them your willingness to learn, they might give you a chance and hire you. Study some of the basic skill that required for your job so you can answer them during the interview.
7. Bring pen (and calculator - optional)
Depends on what kind of job that you apply. Some jobs such as designer or programmer, they will be interested to see your works. Maybe your final project or from your intern-ship. Even if you don't have writing test, you will need to fill up some form. So in case you have calculation test, you already have a calculator with you.
8. Join Intern-ship or Jobless Graduated Program
If you're not lucky in finding a permanent job, try contract, intern-ship or Jobless Graduated Program. There's a lot of option out there and it's up to you to join or just sit around. One of the famous program is Management Trainee. I used to go for an interview for Borders and also Jusco. You will start from below and slowly crawl to the top because your in the management program.
Don't just sit around and whining bout you not getting a job. Before I get my permanent job, I used to work as a retail associate. That's the fancy word that equal to salesgirl. In my interview, they asked me what do I get from a work that's not related to what I studied. My answer is, "It build up confidence, improve my soft skill (interaction with customer) and gain me experience." Just some tips to share with you based on my experience. Maybe some of these tips could help you.

No More Insecurities
I used to be insecure with myself. I always feel down and think that others life are better than me. That they're living their life to the fullest. As I grew older, I said to myself, "Why the hell that I'm sitting here being insecure when I can go out there explore myself and explore the world?" People around us always try to make us down and give up but we shouldn't allow that. Regardless of what they say, we can't shut everyone's mouth. It's not possible. You can pay the psychiatrist, attend motivation camp but if you don't want to motivate yourself, then all the money and the time spent are for nothing. So, what did I do to get off the insecurities?
1. Talk to Yourself
Talking to yourself doesn't make you crazy. We always listen to others. Some says things that make sense but others are crap. You can listen to others but don't forget to listen to yourself.
2. Be Yourself
Don't be someone else just to please other people. I used to change and try to become someone else until some point I don't even know myself. The worst thing is to lose yourself. Trust me, I'm still recovering myself and thank God I able to gather back missing piece of me. Be yourself or be a better YOU. That's make you happier than pleasing someone that may not appreciate you.
3. Love and Appreciate Yourself
Nobody will love you if you don't love yourself. Stop whining about the negative things that you have. Stop saying you're ugly and fat and hate yourself. Appreciate all the positive things you have, you may look skinny to other people (like me) but you're healthy. You have the advantage to eat anything you want without worrying of gaining weight. If you think you're ugly, learn how make yourself look prettier and attractive. Lots of woman nowadays actually are not really pretty but they learn how to make up, dress up and end up looking attractive. There's a side of our mind that always keep thinking of negative things but counter that with positive things.
4. Get a Hobby
Get a hobby if you don't have one. Something that can give you satisfaction and make you feel good about yourself. Some people even turn the hobby into business. Like one of my friend, she likes to bake. Cakes and cupcakes now turnout to be home business. She's still studying and she earns income with her hobby.
5. Find Someone Who Can Motivate You
It can be friends or someone special. If you want to find a guy or a lady, find someone who can encourage and motivate you, not the one who always de-motivate you. Same goes to friends. When you always be around people who think positive, you will think like them. The negative aura will bring you down.
6. It's Time to Change
Set a target of what changes that required to be a better you. Even if you went to a makeover but after that still be the same you, it's such a waste of time. Two of my colleagues always says that they are going to diet and to gym since early of this year but end up eating more. Early this week, two of them being strict to themselves and sign up for the gym that located in the same building. One of them hire a personal trainer, eating healthy foods and dedicated for the time they spend. It's their resolution this year to slim down and being fit. Honestly, I felt so proud of their efforts even though there's no more lunch together. You need to do what you want to do, not whining about it.
This is all I can think of right now. If I have other and maybe you want to share yours, just drop that at the comment and if it's suitable I will add it here. These are what I did even though it takes time but in the end it's worth it. I proud of myself of what I achieve so far and thanks to Mr Hall for all the encouragement. So, what are you waiting for?
*All tips above are based on my experiences.
Surviving Break Up
After break up, you really need to move on. Not all people willing to do that and even waiting for their ex to be back together even after that person is already married. Listen hear people, once that person in a serious relationship, you really need to move on, not wishing for your ex to break up from current relationship and running back to you. That is so selfish. This list I gathered are from my own experience and other close friends'. It will be different for each other but al least you can try it out.
1. Be Near to God
When I had a bad relationship, I always pray to Allah to show me any sign if I should continue with this unhappy relationship. After that I kept getting sign and can see clearly things that I've never notice before. So, I make my decision and never look back. I always pray to Allah and it helps to heal my broken heart.
2. Remove all possible communication medium
DO NOT contact your ex back or let your ex contact you. Especially if that person dumped you and doesn't want to have anything with you anymore. Take care of your dignity. Don't let other people treat you like rubbish. Remove your ex's phone number, change yours, remove your ex from social networking or better yet use the 'Block' function provided in Facebook. Stop stalking your ex. It'll make you sad when he/she is out there live happily and you're still sobbing over him/her.
3. Get Busy
Make yourself busy. Its not in the end of the whole that you need to stay alone in your room and cry out loud. Do things that you never get a chance to do when you were with your ex. Explore the world.
3. Pampered yourself
Treat yourself like a queen. Go to spa and for guys you can go for a massages. Relax and enjoy being pampered. You can even do it at home if you want to but being pampered by others is much better but yeah, you need to spend some $$$.
4. Removed all pictures
Please don't torture yourself by putting your picture with your ex as your computer and phone wallpaper. Everytime you saw that, it's not reminisce the memory but torturing yourself to sadness. Remove from your computer and social networking.
5. Spend time with your love one
Love in here is not including your ex-lover. Spend time with your family and friends. You'll be suprised of so many person that care for you. I know it'snot the same and you might be jealous or sad when you saw other couple. Enjoy your single life. Don't get desperate and get in a rebound relationship. It hurts you and that person.
6. Cry all you want
Even if you're a guy, if you feel like crying just cry. But don't get carried away for so long. We don't want big ugly puffy eyes and yeah crying too much will ruin your beautiful eyes.
7. Have faith and value yourself
Love yourself and believe that this break up is not the end of the world. It's just a new chapter in your life and you're supposed to be wiser. Be the better you and run free.
After break up, you don't have to hate that person or even go around and spread the how bad your ex is. That's not appropriate. Especially when you did that in social networking. Just move on and enjoy your life. Someone better is waiting for you out there. Seriously, there's no such thing as we can still be friends after break up. Not many people survive that. Some people manage to be friends but preferably not. Unless both of you are happy to keep being friend then go ahead but the friendship will never be the same.

Bang the Hair
If you read my previous entry about me getting a haircut, well people I just did. Due to my super curly hair had grown and showing off the weird curly-above-straight-below hair, I did a rebonding and had a bang. A straight bang. My hair is so long and I don't feel like cutting it short. Inspired by Angelina Jolie in Salt and Nelly Furtado in Say It Right music video, I have a bang now.
Feedback? Since this is my first straight bang, I look totally different. Most of the people like it and some does asking me why the hell I cut my hair this way. My hair my say. It's not a crime to try something new and look different. Some says I look like Cleopatra, some says that I look like Japanese anime, some says I look like Japanese doll but nevertheless, I still love the new hairdo no matter what people say. Oh ya, one of our GM said I look like Lady Gaga. Steve, I do feel like Lady Gaga whenever I put my shades on.

Thank God It's Weekend
Been totally busy these few weeks. Actually I'm always busy once I arrive at the office but these few weeks I'm overloaded with works but for sure still have some time for twitter and facebook. It's the superbusy mode is turn on, twitter and facebook is only open in the browser like wallpaper in the laptop. The intention at first was to take a sneak peak at what's going on on twitter and facebook but works keep pouring. There's only me and my boss. We really need another person to help us out.
Multitasking is one of my best skill. Fast and multitasking. I'm used to do 5 to 6 different jobs at the same time (and a sneak peak to 9gag too). I'm a good asset for my company. :D It's great that weekend is here now so I can get some extra sleep that I always wanted every time I woke early in the morning on working day. Once you start working, works never finish.
Life is good. Maybe a good news will be announce soon. I really had a great time when I spent some quality time with my family back at hometown. Love them to the max. Anyhow, this is a short entry from exhausted moi that glad weekend is finally here. Have a great weekend everyone.

What's wrong with My Relationship?
Relationship or shall I refer to love is between a man and a woman sharing their heart with a deepest feeling. Earlier phase was great but what happen after that? That one of them get bored? One just stop to impress the spouse? A lot of problem occurs when we don;t speak or a better word... communicate. We only speak and then only think that end up with frustration because we never meant to say those nasty words to break his/her heart. Why does adult act like a child when it came to relationship. That's why communication is important. Express your feeling and let them know rather than keeping that inside your mind and just suddenly burst in flame. What I learn from my previous relationship, experience and plus others' experience, communication is important. If you're scared or nothing come out of your mouth when you want to talk, just write.
That's what Mr Hall and I discuss about. he always remind me to tell him what I feel even though he know it's not a fun thing to listen. Better say than misunderstand each other. Sometimes, I don't know how to put it in words so I wrote a letter to him. As long as he understand what my point is. Nowadays people don't really communicate with each other and simple jump to conclusion. Yes we want to please the one we love but not by sacrifice our feeling. It will burn you slowly and hurts you even more. If you really care and love that person start to communicate. Stop assuming, listen to what other party has to say and control you emotion. So stop asking what's wrong with my relationship if you don't communicate

Beauty Tips in Recovering from Flu
I'm in the process of recovering bad flu. Yeah flu! My nose is red and I look like Rudolph. I had my medicine and since I'm in a beauty mood, I ask my Professor Google, "What is the beauty tips of recovering from flu?"
Then I found this so I think that I wanna share these with you.
Beauty Tips to Conceal Cold and Flu Symptoms
Make a Beautiful Recovery
by Drew Taylor, Yahoo! Contributor Network
Looking pretty is not typically a priority when suffering from a cold or flu, but the simple truth is that people often do not have the luxury of an extended recovery at home. Once the contagious stage passes, it is time to go back to work. Looking sickly may make your job more difficult, particularly if you have to work closely with colleagues or interact with the public.
Preventative measures can help you avoid the lingering signs of illness.
Leave the red nose to Rudolph.
Your standard toilet paper or facial tissue may seem plenty soft, but you may change your mind after a sneezing fit or days of dealing with a runny nose. Keep soft facial tissue, preferably the kind with lotion, available. Take extra care to moisturize your nose and the surrounding area before the skin gets irritated. Preventive measures are the best option because irritated skin may be further inflamed by beauty products or moisturizers.
Prevent chapped lips.
Fever and dehydration can lead to chapped lips. Staying hydrated, which is an important part of recovering from the flu or a cold, and applying lip balm before bedtime goes a long way in keeping lips moisturized. Burt's Bees all-natural lip balm is made with beeswax. For around three dollars a tube, it is available at a number of stores including Walgreens, Target and Ulta. Any lip balm is better than nothing, especially when your lips hurt--real bad, but Burt's Bees lip balm soothes lips without being too thick or sticky like similar products.
Once it is time to leave your sickbed and face the world, you can look pretty by using these easy beauty tricks to conceal or relieve the signs of a flu or cold.
Treat chapped lips.
Mild exfoliation can help stop lips from peeling. Gently brush lips with a toothbrush to remove dry skin. Commercial products, such as philosophy's Kiss Me Exfoliating Lip Scrub, also help remove dry skin from lips.
Go easy on the eye makeup.
A few good sneezes or watery eyes can smear makeup and leave you looking like a melting clown. Skip the dramatic, smokey look and keep eye makeup to a minimum. If using mascara, try a water-proof formula.
Revitalize tired eyes.
Puffy or tired eyes are one of the greatest indicators of sickness. If puffiness is a problem, try using a cold compress. Products such as soothing eye gels or cooling masks also help reduce swelling. From drug stores to beauty supply stores, many stores sell cooling masks for as little as ten dollars. The reusable masks are made of plastic and filled with gel similar to the lunchbox cold packs. Place the masks in the fridge or freezer and wear the mask for an easy spa treatment at home.
Get rid of red eye.
Use eye drops, refer to the package directions and warnings, to soothe tired, red eyes. If seasonal allergies are the cause of your red eyes, try a product such as Visine-A.
Change your foundation.
Sickness and staying indoors can lighten your normal skin tone and make your foundation look like a mask. Try mixing two or three drops of facial moisturizer with one or two drops of foundation. The result will provide more sheer coverage that helps even your skin tone.
Purchase the extra beauty products, such as lip balm, when you stop by the drug store to pick up some medicine to treat your cold or flu. You can recover beautifully and get back to work without scaring your clients and colleagues.
These are good advices. I did follow few especially wearing the lip balm. I did look like a zombie with chapped lips and red nose. I couldn't cover any make up on my nose area since I keep wiping the itchy nose so I just covered my panda eyes with BB cream and compact powder. At least, people can only see my flaw nose. And it's really bad. Wuargh!

What's your resolution?
I'm always have this habit where I love to see someone else pictures and think of how interesting other people life are and bored of my own life. Yeah, I was living with parents and was having bad relation. I'm losing myself while thinking of all the problems surround me. And still the habit is still here but then I realize. i'm no longer living with my parents and I'm having a great relationship with a very supportive soul mate who are willing to help in a search of myself through this maze. Just then I realize, I myself should make my life interesting instead of complaining.
I slowly pick up the pieces of me when I spend a 'me-time' with reading novels like I used to. Not to forget, blogging like I used to. I start to take care of myself with advice from my soul mate. I could improvement in few are physically but there's more to do to fix myself. Few years suffering left you a 'scar' physically and mentally but it slowly heal. I'm taking care of my health. Taking the vitamins and other supplements. Everybody busy with their new year resolution and now I have my own list of resolution. So here the list that I'm sharing with you....
# Planning interest stuff to do this year
# Strict in taking supplements. No skipping
# Going to spa (Haven't go for a year. Blergh!)
# More novels
# Improve works in office
# Going to the next step with Mr Hall? I don't know but we're getting more loving each days.
That's all I can think of for now but there might be more. The first in the list, too general, yeah I know but I can't say specifically what it is but I'll share with you once I did it.
Few friends' resolution is getting on a diet which mean less lunch partner to go with. Arghh!!!! This is when I miss Miera. Luckily I still have Leyza to go with.

# Going to the next step with Mr Hall? I don't know but we're getting more loving each days.
That's all I can think of for now but there might be more. The first in the list, too general, yeah I know but I can't say specifically what it is but I'll share with you once I did it.

7 Tips How to Look Good in Pictures
Not everyone is photogenic but there is still hope for us to look good in the pictures. These are the 7 tips that I found from All Women Stalk and I should share their secrets with you.
1. Avoid the Double Chin
No one is going to look great in a picture with a double chin. You can save yourself from the dreaded double chin by pointing your chin down and keeping the camera at or above your eye level. It’s important not to let people shorter than you take your picture unless they are standing on a chair.
2. Take Off the Pounds
I’m sure you have heard that the camera adds 5 pounds. This may be true, but with the right stance you can actually look thinner in your pictures. This tip on how to look good in pictures had been shared by the stars on the red carpet for years. When standing, turn your body at a 45 degree angle away from the camera, and then turn from the waist to face the camera. Think of the classic Paris Hilton pose when trying to position yourself for you next photo shoot.
3. No Shiny Face
You don’t want to be the girl that reflects the camera flash. It’s not flattering to have a shiny forehead in the picture. If it’s a hot day and you’ve been sweating, pat off your face and neck. If your skin is just naturally oily, try using a matte finished foundation and powder.
4. Stay Out of the Shadows
People that know how to look good in pictures know to stand in front of the sun. Light can create unattractive shadows on the face. It can give you dark shadows under the eyes, on the side of your nose or under the chin. If you stand in front of the sun outdoors or stay clear of any overhead lighting indoors you will avoid unwanted shadows in your pictures.
5. Practice Practice Practice
It might sound silly but people that know how to look good in pictures practice smiling in the mirror. You want your smile to look natural, not cheesy and plastered on your face. Standing in front of the mirror and practicing your smile will help you know how a natural smile feels. Then you can achieve the same look when having your picture taken.
6. Choose Flattering Clothes
If your outfit makes you feel self-conscious or uncomfortable is it going to show in your pictures. Don’t wear something that you don’t feel 100% beautiful in when you leave the house. You don’t want to be caught on camera fidgeting with your clothes or trying too hard to suck in your stomach.
7. Make-Up
Make-up is very important when you want to know how to look good in pictures. First you don’t want your make-up to be too heavy. Heavy make-up will look even heavier in pictures. You also don’t want to look washed out by not having on any make-up. For best results keep your make-up natural and highlight your best features.
