KL Has Zombies?

Do you know that KL actually has zombies? You've seen it on movies, you've seen it on TV and you've seen it on DVD. Okay, you've seen it in Bluray.

*Making 'whatever' face*

Well these zombies can be seen early in the morning and in the evening. They won't disturb you or eat your flesh like Resident Evil or eat your brain like Zombie Kampung Pisang. They're more to lifeless and everyday you'll see a stampede of zombies. All the zombies moving from one place to another as they've been setup to do that everyday. Their mind has been controled.

All the zombies will be rushing to their destination so don't ever think of stoping them just for a chit chat. Be prepared to be ignored or being stared of without a word. These zombies will look exhausted and travel by transportation. They'll look worse in the evening and sometimes smells. You won't know if they're zombies cause they look like a normal human being, just like you.

At first I was scared. Especially on my first day survival. But I managed to survive and being home safely. Soon I've been infected but I never realize that. Until one day I told Mr Hall what I see everyday. How I survive among the zombies. And it's a shocked to me when Mr Hall said,

"Honey, you're one of them."

I am....

*trembling and slowly stand up*

....one of them. A working zombies.

Yes fellas, you'll be able to see working zombies every Monday to Friday during peak hour which is early morning that could be starting at 7am or earlier and in the evening starting at 5.30pm.

Working zombies travel by train where you can see the zombiness when they change from train to train and station to station. Salesperson, you've been warned not to interupt these zombies with your product and your so called dazzling smile. They might 'eat-you-alive'. But maybe you can try in the evening. Working zombies only see office in the morning and home in the evening. They are totally normal on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday. Or maybe some of them might turned out to be sleeping zombie on their off day as they'll sleep their life up.

You won't know who's surrounding you everyday. Or should I say, what. I am a freaking working zombie.

*Making peace sign with totally adorable face*

Wooooorrrkkinnngggg!

Good Old Days At High School

Can I reminisce bout my school day? When my close friends, my bestest friends and I always hang out together spending our time talking bout boys, clothes and how our future will be?

I still remember when I was in high school, I have to wake up early in the morning. Waiting for the school bus. Doze off in the school bus and sometimes even continue to doze off in the class. I'm surely a sleepy head. Once, I even slept on the table. Yes, on the table itself. Not only my head like we all used to do but the whole body, sleeping like a baby, snoring like a bull. That's what they said. Always being lazy when there's tones of homework to do but still manage to finish them up before I went to sleep.

Your problem at that time is how to live as a teenager without worrying about the money, place to life, how can you get your food, and again whether you have enough money to buy the food, when everything is sponsored by Daddy. Your only comitment is study and get a good result. But back then we never realize it. We're so worried that why boys doesn't want to take us as their couple, talking bout your crush with the boys, talking bout your secret admire, planning to sneak out at night so you can enjoy the night life with other so-called friends (I'm a goodie-two-shoes, never done that). But I still remember how much I value the money and safe some money whenever I want to buy something such as BSB, 911 and Spice Girls cassette. There's no CD yet at that time and also I manage to save some money after years to get a freaking awesome Sony Shockwave Walkman. If you're a teenager in 90's you know what I mean.

Mostly my dad will always buy books and novels. That's why I always love reading which I haven't done that recently due to my busy unstable new life. Blergh! I still remember how I sneak in the other room and try to connect to the Internet using Jaring and the modem making a noise. Fewh! Luckily Dad never heard that since he only allows me to use Internet 1 or 2 hours a day. At one time he even hide the modem cable so I won't be able to secretly online without his permission. Blergh again! And you know where he hide it? In his working bag. Daddy is so cute. *Making weird fake face*.

My comitment at that time is only study. I study hard but I guess I didn't study smart. I got good result for my PMR but my SPM was totally disaster. Despite of my frustration on my SPM result, I still missed my school time. I miss my friends that joke around and still become best and close friends until this very moments. We made each other laught, we annoy each other, we fight with each other but in the end friendship never end. I'm really happy that we still contact each other even though some of them are married and some busy with their kids but we still have time to say hello in FB, SMS and the latest BBM. I love you girls. I don't have to mention your name. You know who you are.

I'm reminiscing bout my good old day! OLD day? Err.... Nawwhhh!!!!! I'm still young. Oh yeah! Now since my office and my house are far away, I need to woke up early like I used to during school time.

Sleepy After Lunch?

I'm freaking sleepy right now and can't concentrate on the coding in my computer screen. I'm always sleepy expecially after lunch. I guess it might be something related to me not having enough blood in my body but most of the people felt like what I'm feeling now. I'm gonna snooze off anytime....
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... Then suddenly....

*Head bangs on the table.*

Shocked of what was just happen just now and pain on the forehead, I'm suddenly fresh and the sleepiness went away. How does other collegues react to what happen? I don't know. Coz I'm lying. Weeee.... (making cute face with peace sign)
It almost happen okay. That's why no matter how sleepy I am, I will remind myself not to snooze off and make that fantasy happen. I can't imagine that the whole floor will be staring at me with the "whaaatttt???" face. They will talk about it all of your life even when you're dead.
"That's the girl who bang her head on the table."
You won't want people to say that would you? So I start google to find out why do we feel sleepy after lunch and found this interesting article in WikiHow. I thought of sharing it with you.

Steps

  1. Not the way to impress your boss!
Not the way to impress your boss!
Understand what it is that is probably making you feel sleepy after lunch. There are three main reasons for sleepiness post-lunch:
    • The food you have eaten is diverting your blood for the digestion process. While natural, depending on what you eat, this process can increase your energy levels, or it can cause sluggishness. The following steps will explain in detail which foods to choose for lunch and what to avoid. In particular, sugary foods increase the blood sugar levels more than normal, causing your pancreas to release insulin. In turn, the insulin triggers tryptophan, which gets converted into serotonin in your brain, a neurotransmitter that makes you feel sleepy.[3]
    • You haven't had enough sleep. Lack of adequate sleep affects both your digestive system's effectiveness and your energy levels.
    • You are unfit, or you have an illness. If you aren't physically fit, if you're avoiding exercise, or if you have a medical condition or illness, your afternoon energy levels may be impacted negatively. Sometimes this can be remedied by getting in shape, but you will need to speak with your doctor about any underlying issues.
  2. Eat a good breakfast.
Eat a good breakfast. Never skip this meal; it sets the energy standard for the rest of the day. Make healthy food choices such as wholegrain breads and cereals, fruits, and yogurt, to provide you with sustained energy for the morning. Eating breakfast helps you to feel less tempted to resort to unhealthy food choices at lunchtime and increases your physical and mental well-being throughout the day. A Cardiff University study showed that regular consumption of breakfast cereals can reduce the stress hormone cortisol, providing another good reason to start the day with healthy food.[4]
  3. Watch what you eat.
Watch what you eat. The contents of your lunch will have a large impact on your afternoon's energy levels. The following suggestions may help you to reduce post-lunch slumping:
    • Avoid fast food. Most fast food is junk food, packed full of fats, sugars, salts, preservatives, and flavor enhancers. It tastes great on the spot and it feels like an energy boost but it has filled you with calories that lack nutrients, and is a very unhealthy fuel for your body. Fast food will spend the rest of the afternoon letting you down with a thump and there is no coming up again.
    • Avoid sugar and flour. As delicious as buns, croissants, muffins, and cakes are, as well as a pasta meal, these are all energy slump-inducers in disguise. Gabe Mirkin, MD, recommends avoiding pastries, pasta, and baked goods if you want to stay awake, as their high flour and sugar content will bring on drowsiness. Choosing unprocessed over processed or refined foods is a guaranteed healthier way to feeling better after lunch.
    • Eat low-carb, high-protein food for lunch. You will feel more awake. Post-lunch drowsiness from a body flooded with insulin to process that carb-rich lunch you just ate can be prevented by eating carefully. Kristie Leong, MD, recommends avoiding potatoes, white rice, pasta, and any sugary foods (such as candy and desserts) because these cause a rapid rise in your insulin levels, which also increases the serotonin levels in your brain.[7] Since serotonin is associated with sleep, it stands to reason that you'll soon be feeling drowsy. Instead favor the following food types:
      • Low-carb vegetable choices include: Sprouts, green beans, lettuce, mustard greens, radicchio, bok choy, sea vegetables, cabbage, mushrooms, radishes, celery, avocado, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, summer squash, zucchini, bamboo shoots, onions, tomatoes, artichokes, carrots, water chestnuts, pumpkin, etc.[8]
      • Low-fat choices include: Beans, nuts, soy, and whole grains.[9]
    • Eat healthy mid-afternoon snacks. Good snacks to reach for mid-afternoon are those that won't deplete your energy but will boost it. That means avoiding the temptation to fuel yourself on a chocolate bar and choosing instead a piece of fruit or wholegrain crackers.
  4. Eat less.
Eat less. A large meal takes more effort to digest. As a result, your blood is diverted to digest the meal properly, resulting in less oxygen and nutrition reaching your brain during the digestion process.[10]
  5. Keep the wine for weekend lunch
Skip the wine or beer with lunch. Unless it's a special occasion and the afternoon's already a write-off (those rare afternoons when the boss says you can all wander off home early because tomorrow's a celebration holiday), avoid having alcohol with lunch. Alcohol is a sedative and even one glass will leave you feeling fatigued for the remainder of the day.
  6. Time to change drinks when it gets to this!
Curb your caffeine intake after lunch. Although caffeine is renowned for its ability to improve our alertness, it can become a case of diminishing returns if you need to keep increasing the dosage because its effect has lessened over time. Needing to up the caffeine is unhealthy because you can easily end up having too much caffeine, crashing quickly after it wears off each time, and ultimately you risk developing a caffeine addiction. Switch to decaffeinated or non-caffeinated drinks to get you through the afternoon. Water is an excellent choice, as it is also important to keep well hydrated throughout the day. As an added bonus, it provides you with an excuse to stroll to the water cooler now and then.
  7. Exercise.
Exercise. After eating, it is a good idea to get out and do some light exercise. Take a walk for a few blocks, do some basic stretches, use the stairs instead of the elevator, or do a few jumping jacks in the restroom — whatever you can think of that fits with your schedule and location. Light exercise after eating will help get your blood flowing and will help to ward off fatigue.
  8. Sleep adequately.
Sleep adequately. Sleep is vital for good functioning. If you're not getting enough sleep at night, it makes sense that you'll start running out of energy by mid-afternoon. Be sure to get enough sleep. Avoid eating food that gives you indigestion through the night, and if you suffer from the need to get up and go to the bathroom during the night, ease up on drinking liquids close to bedtime.
  9. See your doctor.
See your doctor. If you're suffering from excessive drowsiness after eating lunch, even if you're taking the measures suggested above, it's important to see your doctor for a full checkup. There are medical conditions that can cause drowsiness, including iron or other nutrient deficiencies, insulin resistance or diabetes[11], hypoglycemia, or other medical problems. Diagnosis and treatment is something only your doctor can do.
  10. Notice what habits make you sleepy in a "food/mood diary".
Notice what habits make you sleepy in a "food/mood diary".
Notice what habits make you sleepy in a "food/mood diary". Write down when you feel drowsy, what you ate, whether you had exercised or not, how well you slept the night before, and any other factors that might be involved. Do this over a week, and at the end of the week, analyze the data you have recorded. Look for patterns so that you can learn to avoid any habits that cause drowsiness problems for you

The problem is, when I'm hungry I can't look at what I'm eating and start calculating whether this will make me sleepy or not. As long it satisfy my tummy, that's it. But you have to pay for it, not the money, but being sleepy after lunch.

Cut It Out

I wanna cut my haiiirrrrr.......
I wanna cut my hairrr....
I wanna cut my hair....

*Singing with I wanna Hold Your Hand by Beetles melody

I really wanna freaking cut my hair. My hair is totally dry and dying. I've been saving and keeping the hair long so I can make a bouncy mouncy hair but turn out to be that I have not enough vitamin in my body right now and couldn't really take care of my hair. So, I decided to cut my hair. Blergh! It's hair people, it will grow back.

I still can't decide what kind of hairstyle I should make. First of all I should do rebonding so I can have a straight and silky smooth hair. (Try to say this sentence with Zohan's accent.) Should I make a bob haircut? No, not your friend Bob's haircut. Whoever he is. What I'm referring to this kind of Bob haircut.

Like this?

Or this? Aouuuu... she's dope!

Or the fashionista!

Owh or I was thinking to cut my hair just like my sis.

Mimin: Do you always have to make us looks like twins?
Me: Can't I? (Making the cutest puppy eyes)
Mimin: Whatever. (Fake talk-to-the-hand pose and continue busy with her BBM)

I can't wait for my salary coz there's a lot of things in my to do list which required the source with "RM" sign in front. The reason all of us working is to earn money and to survive. Especially in this current competitive surrounding. The groceries price rise up but the salary is still the same. Duh!!!

Waiting for my first salary is like waiting for my first job salary. Don't get confuse ya! I still remember the money that I earn by working. It's just an allowance the company gave you when you're doing your Industrial Training there but hey, not all company gives you allowance when you're doing Industrial Training. Only few companies and usually will be MNC company. I still remember the first time my hand holding the RM500 notes, felt........ like everyday I'm shuffling..... (LMFAO Party Rock background music).

Since I was broke for few months of getting a job with way too low salary where even the factory operator get more than me. I'm having bad hair day everyday and can't wait to cut it short. Easy to manage, healthier hair and ready to go. I do look messy now even I can't stand to see myself in the mirror. Get it away from me. (Drama)

So it's up to next week, when I cash out my first salary of my third job. Third job? Time flies fast.

Hey you: Pics are all extract from google. Still can't decide which haircut I should choose.
